It depends on the humidity and the indoor air quality of the area. With low humidity or frequent contamination (smoking), you may need to change the water every day. We recommend changing the water every one to two days to ensure no storage of air contaminants and the continuous release of pleasant aroma.
Note: Even after the aroma is gone, Antibac 2K®still functions as normal. Discard water in basin or toilet bowl to disinfect it.
For general application, we recommend 5 ml of the solution concentrate to about 500ml of water. For strong, stubborn odours, increase dose to 10-15 ml. The environing fragrance is specially designed to remove nuisance odour including nicotine.
Plug off the adaptor. Remove the silver top cover from the bowl. Do not turn the lid upside down. This will cause the backflow of water to the motor.

Support the top cover with the stirrer without inverting it.

Wipe the metal outer part of the top cover with a dry cloth. Do not immerse the metal part in water.

To clean the inner plastic part, allow the lid to dry first. Wipe the plastic inner part and remove any dust that might block the air holes with a cotton bud.

Do not wash it under running water.
To clean the glass bowl:
Hold the bowl firmly to avoid breakage.
Discard the water in the basin or toilet bowl.
Rinse it with clean water and scrub it gently with a sponge.
Pull the agitation shaft straight from the motor housing and remove it from the Magic Ball.

Twist the plastic central cone anti-clockwise to remove it from the fan plate.

Soak the central cone in mild detergent and rinse it under cold water. If necessary, use the brush provided to remove the dirt inside the cone.

Afterwards, re-attach the central cone by turning it clockwise until it clicks back in place.

Push the agitation shaft straight and replace it on the motor housing.
Note: If the cone is not attached properly to the fan plate, it will vibrate and create noise during spinning. To stop this, remove the shaft again (be sure to wipe off any water to avoid backflow), attach the cone to the next slot on the fan plate and try again until no further vibration or noise occurs.
Fluoride does not affect the performance of the Antibac 2K® Air Purifying Solution. You don’t need to use distill water to achieve ultimate performance.
It is safe to operate the Magic Ball 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Magic Ball is equipped with an adaptor which automatically disconnects the electricity in the cases of overheating due to misuse. To prolong the life of the Magic Ball, do not allow the water to run dry when the Magic Ball is operating.
Moreover, the Magic Ball operates at 20W and is more economical than many air purifiers in the market.
Note: To maintain ultimate sanitizing and deodorizing performance, keep the water at or slightly below the indicative level (or 500ml approximately). In dry seasons, you may need to refill every day
